Ingredients

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix semolina, yogurt, and water to make a smooth batter.
  2. Add mixed vegetables, turmeric, salt, and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard and cumin seeds.
  4. Once they splutter, add green chilies.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Remove from pan and serve hot with chutney.

Notes

  • Adjust the consistency of the batter with water.
  • You can add more vegetables as per your preference.
  • Serve with pickles or yogurt for extra flavor.
