- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, and eggs to the mixture. Stir well.
- Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter on the dough.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the butter.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix icing sugar and milk to make icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use more flour if the dough is too sticky.
- Let the rolls cool slightly before icing.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
