A quick and easy lasagna recipe perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Add another layer of marinara sauce, followed by 3 more noodles and the remaining ricotta mixture.
  7. Add 3 more noodles, the remaining marinara sauce, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use no-boil noodles for even quicker preparation.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • This dish can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
