These St. Patrick’s Day cookies are fun and festive treats to celebrate the holiday.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Green sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and food coloring to the butter mixture.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing.
- Drizzle icing over cookies and sprinkle green decorations.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Adjust food coloring for desired shade of green.
- Use other shapes for cookies if preferred.
