Description
A classic dish made with sweet potatoes and topped with marshmallows.

- 4 large sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- For a crunchy topping, add crushed pecans or walnuts.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
