Air Fryer Salmon Filet: 5 Steps to Perfectly Crispy Delight

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Perfectly cooked salmon filets with a crispy exterior and tender, flaky interior, made effortlessly in your air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon filets, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon filets and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon filets in the air fryer basket, skin side down, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Cook the salmon filets in the air fryer for 7-10 minutes, depending on the thickness. The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
  6. Once done, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For best results, choose salmon filets of uniform thickness.
  • Cooking time may vary based on the air fryer model and salmon thickness.
