- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Drizzle the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until evenly combined.
- Spread the oat topping over the apples in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
