- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over the top. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite side dishes such as rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
- For extra flavor, you can add a splash of lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
