Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 1/4 cup your favorite wing sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and toss the wings in your favorite wing sauce until well coated.
- Serve hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Feel free to adjust the spices to your taste. You can add more cayenne for extra heat or swap the smoked paprika for regular paprika for a different flavor.
- Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
