  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add diced onions and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
  3. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Let simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir until well coated with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
