- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches, drained (optional)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the melted butter evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the melted butter.
- Arrange the drained crushed pineapple and optional sliced peaches evenly over the brown sugar layer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the pineapple and peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
