Description

These adorable Easter Bunny Cupcakes are perfect for kids! Topped with fluffy frosting and decorated to look like bunnies, they’re a delightful treat for the holiday.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate chips
  • Pink candy melts (for the ears)
  • Green coconut (optional, for grass decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, frost each cupcake generously with the frosting.
  6. To create bunny ears, melt the pink candy melts and pour into a bunny ear mold. Let harden.
  7. Press two mini marshmallows into the frosting for the bunny’s cheeks and place chocolate chips for the eyes.
  8. Insert the bunny ears into the top of the cupcake.
  9. If desired, sprinkle with green coconut around the base for a grassy effect.
