- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cups cooked white rice (or brown rice)
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the cooked chicken, stirring to coat. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- While the chicken cooks, steam the broccoli until tender, about 4-5 minutes.
- To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked rice between serving bowls. Top with the teriyaki chicken and steamed broccoli.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top for garnish. Serve immediately.

- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
