  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin, even strips to resemble french fries.
  2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This will help achieve maximum crispiness.
  3. Drain and rinse the potatoes, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the dried potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
