Ingredients

- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup pastel-colored M&M’s
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- Green food coloring
- 1 can of frosting (any flavor)
- Assorted Easter-themed sprinkles
- Mini chocolate eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
- While the cake is cooling, prepare the coconut. In a bowl, mix shredded coconut with a few drops of green food coloring until evenly colored.
- Once the cake is cooled, frost the top with your choice of frosting.
- Sprinkle the green coconut over the frosting to create a grass effect.
- Decorate with pastel M&M’s and mini chocolate eggs to resemble an Easter egg hunt.
- Finish with a sprinkle of Easter-themed sprinkles on top.
- Slice and serve to enjoy your fun Easter dessert!
Notes
- Feel free to use any cake flavor you prefer for this recipe.
- For a more festive look, use multiple colors of food coloring for the coconut.
- You can also add other Easter-themed candies for decoration.
