A rich and creamy stroganoff made with tender ground beef, mushrooms, and a delicious sauce served over egg noodles.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until they are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can use a combination of ground beef and ground pork.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or peas for added color and nutrition.
