Description
A rich and creamy chocolate mousse made with avocado for a heart-healthy twist. This dessert is naturally sweetened and full of healthy fats.

- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, almond milk, and sea salt to the blender.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more maple syrup if desired.
- Transfer the mousse to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries or nuts.
