- 200 grams Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
- a pinch Saffron strands
- 50 grams Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)
Instructions
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, boil the milk on medium heat.
- Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer until it reduces to half.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the reduced milk.
- Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour into serving bowls and garnish with chopped nuts.
- Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add condensed milk.
