Instructions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, boil the milk on medium heat.
  2. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer until it reduces to half.
  3. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the reduced milk.
  4. Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Pour into serving bowls and garnish with chopped nuts.
  7. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes
