- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add breaded chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, cover each piece with marinara sauce, and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Toss in cooked spaghetti and mix well, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve chicken parmesan over buttery garlic spaghetti and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
