- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Place broccoli florets in a baking dish and pour the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken breasts. Arrange the chicken on top of the broccoli.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
