Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Place broccoli florets in a baking dish and pour the creamy garlic sauce over the chicken breasts. Arrange the chicken on top of the broccoli.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
