These mini bourbon meatballs are the perfect finger food for your Kentucky Derby party. They are juicy, flavorful, and glazed with a sweet bourbon sauce that will have your guests coming back for more.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the bourbon, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to create the glaze.
- Pour half of the glaze over the meatballs and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, remove the meatballs from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve warm with toothpicks for easy eating.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
- Serve with a side of extra bourbon glaze for dipping.
