Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine ripe avocados, cocoa powder, honey or agave syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  3. Add almond milk gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  5. Scoop the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  6. Serve chilled, optionally topped with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream.
