Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sugar, cinnamon, and salt, stirring until combined.
- Place the pear halves cut-side down in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to caramelize.
- Carefully flip the pears and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender and golden brown.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Serve warm caramelized pears over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
