Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before frosting.
