Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb (450g) mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 lb (450g) clams, cleaned
  • 1 lb (450g) fish fillets (such as cod or haddock), cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups (950ml) seafood stock or fish stock
  • 1 cup (240ml) white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the diced tomatoes, seafood stock, white wine, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Add the clams and mussels to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the shells open.
  4. Add the shrimp and fish fillets to the pot. Stir gently and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and the fish is cooked through.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat.
  6. Serve the seafood stew hot, garnished with fresh parsley, and accompanied by crusty bread.
