Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets in teriyaki sauce for at least 10 minutes.
  3. While the salmon is marinating, rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed jasmine rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  5. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and cover it to keep warm.
  6. Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. While the salmon is cooking, steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Toss the steamed broccoli with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and salt to taste.
  9. Serve the air fryer salmon over jasmine rice with sesame broccoli on the side.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce to taste.
  • For extra flavor, add green onions or chili flakes as a garnish.
