- 1 cup silken tofu, drained
- 1/2 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the melted chocolate, silken tofu, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more maple syrup if desired.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries or coconut whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a higher percentage of dark chocolate.
- You can substitute maple syrup with agave nectar or any other liquid sweetener.
- This mousse can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
