This easy vegan chocolate mousse is rich, creamy, and made with just a few simple ingredients. It’s the perfect dessert for chocolate lovers and can be made in under 15 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup silken tofu, drained
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the melted chocolate, silken tofu, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more maple syrup if desired.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries or coconut whipped cream if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a higher percentage of dark chocolate.
  • You can substitute maple syrup with agave nectar or any other liquid sweetener.
  • This mousse can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
